Modi-Sharif talks Highlight Terror, Trade
The meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif stole the limelight of Mr Modi’s First day in the Office. Mr Modi Tuesday asked Nawaz Sharif to clamp down on terror outfits in Pakistan and to speed up the progress in the trail of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. The two leaders shook hands and smiled for cameras before heading into the meeting at Hyderabad House. Modi told Sharif that the two countries could immediately move towards normalisation of trade. Pakistan delay in granting India the most-favoured nation status, too, came up.
